shower ritual

Boil a large pot (about 1 liter) of water and add the herbs. As you place the herbs into the pot, infuse them with your prayers and intentions. Speak to the plants—invite their energy and open the portal for their sacred technologies to work with your spirit.
Reduce the heat and let the herbs simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool. Once cooled, strain the bath.
To use, pour about one cup of the elixir over your body during a shower. Do this prayerfully and with intention, calling upon the power of the plants to support your spiritual process and align with both your own intention and that of the plant blend.
You may also add the elixir to your bathwater or mix it into your soap. Sweet blends can be used as a final rinse and left on the body to enhance their effectiveness. Bitter blends, however, should always be rinsed off after use.
Please Note: As with any plant or natural product, there is a possibility of allergic reaction. If you experience any irritation or discomfort, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.
Herbal blends have long been used in this practice, not only for their physical properties, but for the energy and memory they carry. Through bathing, pouring, or washing, the herbs help release heaviness, restore harmony, and realign the individual with their natural state of balance.
Santiguar is not about removing something “bad,” but about returning the body and spirit to clarity, protection, and flow. It is a slow, intentional act — one that invites presence, reverence, and respect for the wisdom passed down through generations.
In honoring this tradition, we approach cleansing as a sacred ritual — one that nurtures the skin, calms the nervous system, and supports energetic renewal.
Although these blends may be used simply for their skin-nourishing benefits, their highest potential is activated through intention — through your connection to God, prayer, trust, and presence.
When herbs are met with reverence, they become more than ingredients. They become a bridge — between body and spirit, ritual and everyday life, the seen and the unseen.
It is my honor to share this ancestral tradition with you, and to invite you into a practice rooted in care, faith, and deep respect for the wisdom passed down through generations.
